Bengali Spicy Girl Rituparna Sengupta Hot Photos
Rituparna Sengupta was born on 7 November1971 in Calcutta. She was active in the arts since a young age, having learnt painting, dancing and handicrafts at a painting school, called Chitrangshu, in childhood.
Naa Girl Friend Baaga Rich (NGBR), directed by M. Nagendra Kumar and produced by Kumar Brothers, stars Sivaji and Kaveri Jha in the lead roles. Shooting has been wrapped up and the movie has gone into post-production phase. NGBR is a remake of the award-winning Iranian film Children of Heaven and also features Rituparna Sengupta.
Tollywood star Rituparna Sengupta feels regional ads are tapping into a potential rather than an existing market. “People here are not very aware. It’s important for Bengalis to realise that looking good is most important and these ads help spread awareness among women who have little exposure to beauty products and treatments,” she says.
Rituparna Sengupta has finished doing a Bipasha Basu in the Bengali version of Jism.
Rituparna made her debut in the Hindi film industry with Main Meri Patni Aur Woh and later featured in Sirf. She is also doing Manish Gupta's Saab Chai Pani, Kalpana Lajmi's woman-oriented Mujhe Rang De with Isha Koppikar and Srinivas's Love Game in which she is paired opposite Randeep Hooda.
This talented actress has proved herself time and again with films like Dahan (1997), Utsab (2000), Paromitar Ek Din (2000) and Mondo Meyer Upakhyan (2002). She also won the Best Actress award at the 1998 Indian National Film Awards for her role in Rituparno Ghosh's Dahan, where she played Romita, a newly wed woman who is the victim of a sexual assault.
